A chance encounter
I came across an M&T Jewelry livestream by chance. The familiar accent made me look up, and Meili’s presence and sense of style made me stay. She happened to be introducing Akoya pearls, which I had been hoping to find. That was how the connection began.
The first piece
My first purchase was a bracelet of large freshwater baroque pearls. I already knew something about pearls, but wanted to begin with a smaller purchase and see the quality for myself. When it arrived, I was delighted by how much I liked it for the price.
A preference worth understanding
For a golden pearl ring, I asked Meili to choose a pearl with a lighter colour. She responded quickly and asked why I preferred pale gold when others were choosing a deeper shade. That question made me feel that my preferences mattered.
Ideas we brought to life
I often have unexpected ideas and particular requests for my jewellery. Meili never dismisses them; she patiently helps me bring them to life. Some pieces even became known as “Chaomin designs”. It made the experience feel truly personal.
Reassurance, over time
Looking back at the pieces I have bought — from small accessories to pearl strands costing much more — I have never been disappointed. Each arrival has been a happy surprise. Being able to choose with that sense of reassurance is something I value.
From clients to friends
Over time, a relationship between a brand and a customer became a friendship built on trust. Through M&T Jewelry I also met women with similar interests. We talk about jewellery, outfits, work and family life, sharing happy moments and supporting each other when things are difficult.
